To conduct “On Farm Testing” for identified technologies in terms of location specific in sustainable land use systems.
To organize “Front Line Demonstrations” on various thrust areas to generate production data and feedback.
To organize short & long term training for “Farmers, Farm Women & Rural Youth” on various technologies to provide theoretical & practical knowledge about improved & latest agriculture technologies.
To organize training for “Extension Personnel” for updating their knowledge on latest technologies in agriculture.

To enhance farm income by introducing latest and useful technologies.
To optimize utilization of human and natural resources available in the district.
To back up with training and communicational support to the district level developmental departments /non government organizations in their extension programme.
To promote self help groups with the capacity to sustain and continue socio-economic development of unemployed rural youth and to empower the women for financial contribution in primary income.
To raise awareness level of villagers regarding various welfare programmes initiated by the government.
